What's the difference with frosted and shimmer nail polish?

Frosted would be best. Shimmer has flecks of things called flakies they're like glitter. It's much more subtle than normal glitter polish.

frosted i think means completely covered. like its a milky white which is better for manicure. a more solid and smooth color. shimmer is sparkly and maybe has glitter or flecks in them depending on what type of nail polish you use making your nail kind of bumpy and bad for a french manicure. try shimmer only it looks good :)

Frosted has more of a milky pearly shimmer to it.


Shimmer is really well... sparkly. it would look really childish to use it for a tip color.
