What does the ';high'; part of inhaling nail polish do to you?

so i just found out that my friend would do something like this:

first she would take a plastic bag and then she would get like part of a paper towel or something (idk) and pour nail polish on it... but not very much. she would put it in the bag for like 15 minutes and then open it and put in up 2 her mouth and inhale it... she trying to get ';high'; i guess. what exactly does it do to you that makes you feel ';high';?What does the ';high'; part of inhaling nail polish do to you?
Well, she isn't exactly getting high since nail polish is NOT a drug, but rather a harmful cocktail of chemicals when inhaled. What she is doing is killing off nerves and brain cells, making her feel light-headed, dizzy, etc. This is extremely dangerous because inhaling these fumes intentionally can cause sudden death, liver damage (since these chemicals are later metabolized in her liver), heart palpitations, lung damage, throat damage, cancers of various organs (though the extent of inhalants causing cancer has not been fully researched). This habit is very dangerous and is no different than being gassed, or taking potent poison. Its not a drug, its just toxic. What does the ';high'; part of inhaling nail polish do to you?
It kills your brain cells very rapidly too. If she keeps on doing this, she wont know her own name in a few years. If she wants to get high, smoke MJ.
