Nail polish contains acetone which attacks the glue fibers, breaking down the chemical bond. How does nail polish remover work on super glue?
not sure but if tring to clean up super glue
paint thiner works very well and also gas if not in side closed space
( plus the smell is not smell good )
also a blow drier or heat gun
super glue does not like high temps (sum kinds)

The acetone disolves the glue or softens it enough so it becomes unstuck. Not sure how but thats how they remove artificial nails.
it breaks the bond through a chemical reaction that slightly softens the glue enough to separate the bond.
