not really but if you go a problem with hangnails clear coat to strengthen and file down slightly to git somewhat of a natural look.
I think it looks pretty stupid. Although, clear manicures look nice and clean. Colored polish looks pretty and guys are not ';pretty'; so it looks stupid.
i think its kinda strange but hell wear what you want......doesnt matter what other people think!
go with back or a dark color like green or navy and just remember no red!
