How long does nail polish last?

i just did my nails last night with maybelline salon finish crystal clear. is this a good nail polish? how long do you think it will last? how can i protect it from chipping?How long does nail polish last?
It matters. Mine lasted 10 days. But my friend did hers too and it lasted a week. But she likes to pick on her nails and bite them so i think that is why it came out faster. Just if you want it to last don't bite your nails, don't pick on them, and be care full when opening stuff like cans, jars and all of those stuff. And also if you cook dinner or stuff be care full because the nail polish will come out.

Maybelline isn't usually a very strong brand, but it's not terrible, i'm sure it's very cute(: Even with the best nailpolish, i usually can't make mine last for more than a week at the most. To avoid chipping just try not to of course pick at them, and be careful when doing buttons and snaps, and pulling caps open. If they do end up chipping just do a little tough-ups (:
Nail polish last along time, usually it's when it won't mix together anymore once you have shaken it, or has dried out and gunky.
