You could try rubbing alcohol (not the type you drink). This should easily do the job.





If you don't have a bottle of it already, you can buy it at any pharmacy store (Walgreen, CVS etc) or grocery store should have them too.

Lacquer thinner will remove it no problem. Be sure there is adequate ventilation. Lacquer thinner is extremely flammable, more so than gasoline so care must be taken.
HUMMM you might want to try paint thinner I am 100% sure it will work butttt you have to open all the windows and you might want to get you daughter out for a bit, for the smell is very strong!! Good luck!!!

Well, you can replace the light switch and door knob, but the tiled floor you need to call Lowe's or a supply store and ask them, most caustics will scratch up your floor. If you have extra tiles take up the bad ones and glue down the new ones.

Most nail polishes are only something like 5% acetone. The straight stuff will take the nail polish off, without the oiliness that comes with lacquer thinner or mineral spirits. But be warned, it will probably take some scrubbing and the tile grout will always be stained.
I would suggest nail polish remover or acetone. You should have some if you have nail polish at home
Nail polish remover has to work. You could try pure acetone which is the main ingredient in nail polish remover.

There's this remover thing called Goo-B-Gone... its kind of orangey, and you can get it almost anywhere, Walmart, some drug stores. It will take off anything sticky, and it is a miracle worker on nail polish.
Nail polish remover, acetone 100% , or paint thinner.
