The couches are less than a month old!HELP!!! My brother accidentally tried to remove nail polish from my LEATHER COUCH with polish remover!!!?
Don't panic, and call the company it was purchased from and ask them if they have repair service since it is still under the warranty.
If not, then you can try shoe polish.....
I don't envy you! Good luck!!!HELP!!! My brother accidentally tried to remove nail polish from my LEATHER COUCH with polish remover!!!?
Please please do not use any of these methods as it will make the matter far worse and may make it unfixable.
You have removed the top coat of the finish on the leather (it sounds like the leather is what we call a two-tone leather, one colour on top of another). The top colour will need replacing professionally as it is not a simple process if you do not know what you are doing. The colour has to be matched specifically and applied to match the rest of the leather.
Please just come clean to your mum and then help her arrange to get it fixed properly.
No- He PURPOSELY tried to remove the damage that had already been done. Don't make it any worse by bumbling around in an amateurish fashion. Admit your mistake - go to the professionals and fix it properly.
It will not be half as bad if you do it right in the first place!
go to a craft store like michaels and get some leather stainer try to find a color that mathes your couch and paint over it it should work and there should be a perfect color to match it.
YOU CAN TRY AND FIND A BROWN MARKER TO MATCH IT TO YOU CAN ALL SO TRY OLD DARK ENGLISH
