Is there a homemade nail polish remover?

if there is....

how do you make it? or what is it?

does rubbing alcohol work?Is there a homemade nail polish remover?
what you can do is put another coat of nail polish on your nails and use a cotton ball to wipe it off right away. it will take off all the dry polish. Is there a homemade nail polish remover?
Acetone is the nail polish remover you buy at the store. Alcohol will not work. A paint remover or thinner may work. You could try polishing it off with an abrasive if you do not have a solvent (chemical) to remove it.

Options for ';sanding'; it off are:

toothpaste (not gel)

pumice

a file or emery board

fine grade sand paper (higher the number the finer)

a scotch brite pad from the kitchen

a Magic Eraser from Mr. Clean

lil angel is also correct about the new coat of polish and prompt removal, but it will leave some residual polish on your cuticle and skin areas.
