Help i spilled nail polish remover on my coffee table, what do i do?

Can you peel any of it off? Or maybe scrape it off with a razor blade. You could always use nail varnish remover, though it may leave a mark. Eucalyptus or orange oil is pretty good for removing sticky glues and it might work on nail varnish, if left on to soften it. Maybe a hairdryer to soften it (I'm not sure if it would, but it's worth a try) and a razor blade to scrape it off. If you use nail varnish remover, there are two types, oily and non-oily, the oily one may leave a greasy mark so I'd try the other if it was me. If it leaves a mark there is a product called ';Marveer'; which will remove white rings left by coffee cups and could be useful to you. (I'm not sure if it's available in the US though) Good luck, I hope some part of this information is useful to you. Help i spilled nail polish remover on my coffee table, what do i do?
The acetone in the remover has dissolved part of the shellac or lacquer. Because the structure of the finish has been affected, you have to refinish the surface, which entails removing the old surface by one method or another and replacing it.

It'll be difficult to recreate the exact surface since you don't have the industrial spraying equipment to get a perfect coat of lacquer or shellac. You could sand it down evenly then paint, followed by a coat of polycrylic, or you could use acetone and steel wool to remove the finish from top, sides, and legs, restain, then apply a coat of polycrylic.Help i spilled nail polish remover on my coffee table, what do i do?
Hmmm, Nail Polish can stain things very quickly, especially coffee tables.

If you haven't already tried, you should put on some kind of cleaning spray, although the spray will get rid of most of the stain, there will probably still be a mark. The mark wont be that noticeable but i am afraid there is nothing else you can do.
yikes! that is gonna be sticky to get off. try painting over it. but sometimes it works with windex. just spray a lot of windex on the table. if it doesn't work paint over it. that will work.
The Divine is right. If it's not worth refinishing, you can buy a tablecloth, runner or doilies to cover the spot!
